Friday's 360 had only one topic: the resignation of Reince Preibus.

Anderson started with an overview of Trump's horrible week (horrible just for us?) beginning with his rant at the Boy Scout Jamboree and ending with the Priebus resignation. There was a clip of Anthony Scaramucci's "Cain and Abel" comment about Priebus and a longer clip of Priebus talking with Wolf Blitzer. Priebus' POV can be summed up as 'this is a redesign, a reset, I'm not going to say anything negative about anyone and Rah Rah Trump'. He wouldn't even answer a question about the "leaker" accusation. Sara Murray and Jeff Zeleny gave a bit more information and details and then it was a panel of 4 - Gloria Borger, David Challian, David Axelrod and Ryan LIzza - to analyze.
The first segment lasted until :29 into the hour.

Anderson showed a clip of Trump praising Priebus-replacement retired General John Kelly while speaking to police academy graduates. Trump's remarks about crime and his advocating for more police brutality were not covered. Barbara Starr reported on Kelly's background, his ability to be Chief of Staff and his son's death. The panel came back with the addition of retired Lt.Gen. Mark Herting and author Joshua Green It sounded like more of the yadda yadda and I eventually switched to Hayes.

The last segment of the first hour began with a clip of Trump, standing under an umbrella, complimenting Kelly again. Randi Kaye had a report on the history of the Trump / Priebus relationship. A new panel of 4 gathered but his one included Jeffrey Lord; back to Hayes who was covering the failure of the GOP healthcare bill last night as its own topic, not a glancing mention when theorizing why Priebus resigned.

I did not see the rest of 360 but did check in briefly at :02 into the hour; same topic and same clip of Priebus with Bitzer. It's as though Anderson and his producers believe the second hour brings in a whole new batch of viewers, none of whom watched any of the first hour. Granted, there could be viewers like that. Unfortunately if they repeat the first hour it gives first-hour viewers little reason to stay.

THANK GOODNESS FOR THE WASHINGTON POST: NOW WE KNOW THAT BOGUS OBSTRUCTED JUSTICE. HE DICTATED A RESPONSE TO A MEETING THAT "SUPPOSEDLY" HE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT, ACCORDING TO BOGUS JR. WHO IS THE SON OF THE LIAR IN CHIEF.
WE WILL LEARN OTHER REASONS FOR BOGUS TO RESIGN, BECAUSE HE PROBABLY OBSTRUCTED JUSTICE MORE THAN ONCE. THIS IS THE ONLY ONE WE KNOW ABOUT. DRIP, DRIP, DRIP, PLEASE REPUBLICAN PARTY ASK
PRESIDENT BOGUS TO RESIGN. DON'T PUT THE COUNTRY THROUGH AN IMPEACHMENT. IT IS TOO COSTLY AND TAKES WAY TOO LONG AND YOU KNOW IN THE END, NO ONE CAN CONTROL THE UNTAMED IGNORANT, S O B, THAT NOW OCCUPIES THE OVAL OFFICE.
WE ARE GETTING NOTHING DONE AND I'M SICK OF HEARING AND SEEING JEFF LORD DEFEND THIS OVER INDULGENT SLOB. I DON'T KNOW WHAT AC IS "ON," THAT HE CONTROLS HIMSELF WHEN HE CALLS ON JEFF LORD, BUT WHEN I SEE JEFF'S FACE, WITH ITS DEVILISH CONTORTIONS, I IMMEDIATELY CHANGE THE CHANNEL. WOODSTEIN NEEDS TO WRITE A NEW BOOK THAT IS ENTITLED "ALL THE PRESIDENT'S APPRENTICES." "DONALD NEEDS A LOT OF HELP PLAYING WITH OTHERS. WE MUST ISOLATE HIM."
PERSONALLY GLAD TO SEE "MOOCH" GO. HE LOOKED AS THOUGH HE WAS HIRED STRAIGHT FROM THE MOB AND KELLY'S INSTINCTS SEEM ADMIRABLE. BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT KELLY WILL NOT STAY. WE KNOW WHO THE PROBLEM IS AND HE MUST, MUST, MUST, GET THE H---OUT OF DODGE.
