I missed the first minute of Thursday's 360 and never got the name of the reporter in Seoul, South Korea whom Anderson was talking to about North Korea's launch of a missile over Japan. However the big chunk of the first segment was devoted to Trump's latest bleats trying to clean up his awful "many sides" remarks after Charlottesville. Trump claims many people agree he made a good point. Anderson said Trump is trying to "re-write" history. Anderson overviewed Trump's Charlottesville comments from a month ago and a recent comment from Rep. Tim Scott (R-SC).
To hash this all out Anderson introduced a panel of Gloria Borger, Van Jones and Rev. Darrell Scott. Borger and Jones said Trump was wrong and can't admit it, Scott said both sides at the Charlottesville protest were violent and both were wrong. Anderson asked Scott, several times in different ways, to justify Trump's comment that the neo-Nazi alt-right protesters included "very fine people"; Anderson never got an answer from Scott which made sense. Borger wants Trump to clarify his remark and not make it look like he thinks both sides are "equally evil". Jones said Scott was making strawman arguments and this led to a debate on using a gun to defend yourself when a neo-Nazi mob comes to your house.
It was a good panel, the right number of panelists but it's obvious 360 has not run out of Trump parrots and apologists after Jeffrey Lord and Kaleigh McEnany left.

"NYT: Trump Humiliated Sessions After Mueller Appointment" was the opening chyron to the second segment, the other chyron in this segment stated Trump called Sessions an idiot. Anderson talked to Maggie Haberman about Trump wanting Sessions to resign, why, a profile of the Trump/Sessions relationship, Trump's "split-screen personality" and the handling of ending DACA.

Ending DACA was the topic of the third segment. Anderson had a Q&A with Jeff Zeleny about Trump's immigration policy, DACA, the wall, Trump's latest statements and how they square with reality and how Trump is working with or not working with the GOP and Democrats. And then there was a very good interview with Jorge Ramos.

Criminal investigations have started at the Florida nursing home where eight people died after Hurricane Irma. Anderson spoke with a reporter (name unknown) about the details and about how many people are still without power in Florida and when that will be fixed. Then it was meteorologist Tom Sater covering Hurricane Jose's strength and path and two baby hurricanes now forming in the Atlantic.

Tom Foreman had a good report on Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin's request for a government military airplane for his honeymoon. A government watchdog group is looking into this and Mnuchin and wife using a government plane to see the eclipse.
Anderson previewed the start of the second hour: North Korea's missile launch.

WHILE HILLARY MAY HAVE PRAISED ANDERSON DURING HIS INTERVIEW, I SEEM TO REMEMBER CNN IN GENERAL, WAS VERY DISMISSIVE OF EVERYTHING HILLARY LAST SUMMER, AND THAT INCLUDED, ANDERSON. THEY WERE VERY PARTIAL TO TRUMP. IN FACT IT WAS TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP, 24/7. FREE ADVERTISING GOT HIM ELECTED. HE HAD CELEBRITY AND SHE DIDN'T. HE REPRESENTED "CHANGE," AND SHE WAS "OLD HAT."
HILLARY IS FIRST AND FOREMOST, A POLITICIAN. SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A POLITICAL ANIMAL
HUFFPOST IS REPORTING THAT HILLARY ALSO SAID THAT WHEN HER "HEAD WAS SEVERED" AND "SMEARED ON R N C T-SHIRTS," NOBODY OBJECTED OR SAID A WORD, AND THAT INCLUDED "CNN ANCHORS."
