Anderson Cooper 360 on Monday, April 2, 2018

Anderson Cooper anchored AC360 in the 8pm and 9pmET hours from a studio in San Francisco.  Earlier in the day he posted the following Instagram Story ~

And he ended the program acknowledging that today is Dyngus Day ~

We found the following photo on Facebook posted earlier this year ~

Anderson posted the following picture of Lily to his Instagram yesterday.  Not sure how he got her to sit in the cold snow!

hehe, Dyngus day. Cutie.

I think Lily probably sat on the ice to cool off.

I had a random question for people here, do you think that Anderson's insistence on not acknowledging/responding to celebrity feuds/attacks can sometimes backfire? I am thinking in terms of Kathy Griffin. Her relentless attacks on him have made a huge difference to his fan following, because she sets the narrative and she doesn't tell the truth. Like she never mentions that he reached out to her in August and she was the one who told him the friendship was over.
Anyway, she was on Stern today and said some outright lies about Anderson, like the fact that he never did promo for her. He promoted her last book "celebrity run-ins" on twitter and ac360, which is rare for him. I don't remember her promo-ing rainbow or nothing left unsaid though. And looking at twitter reactions to the interview and the whole new slate of attacks against anderson is making me wonder: how long should anderson stay silent? apparently she talks about him in her live act too and that is coming back to the U.S. now.

Glad 360 covered the fraudulent "fair and balanced" script that Sinclair Broadcast Group is forcing local news channels to read--this is dangerous and scary--I would've liked to have seen a longer discussion on this but at least they covered it. AC rarely broadcasts from my hometown, happy to see him there.

Shame on Kathy Griffin for lying about Anderson--I don't know if Anderson will make any comments about it, he generally avoids public spats like the plague but if she keeps it up, maybe he should set the record straight.
