Fast Paced AC360

360 got off to a quick start on Tuesday night. Anderson revisited the still unfolding story of Jessie Davis, the missing pregnant mother from Ohio. A surveillance video of Jessie, shopping last Wednesday, turned up along with a newborn baby discovered on a porch in a neighboring community (more on that later). Even though the father of Jessica's son seems to be the logical suspect, a local Canton newspaper reporter isn't convinced. The reporter conducted a lengthy interview with the baby's father. In the reporter's conversations with Anderson and Larry King he indicated he believed, at least to some extent, Bobby Cutts' story. Jessie's family cancelled all interviews for Tuesday evening. You have to wonder if they were scheduled to speak with AC360 again.

When Anderson mentioned the fire in South Carolina on Monday's 360 I had no clue it would turn into such a tragic story. 9 lives lost. What a sacrifice those men made and their firefighter brothers and sisters make everyday, to keep us safe.
Just when I was thinking 'oh God, please don't let them send Rick Sanchez into a burning building' I saw that they sent John Zarella instead. CNN is trying to switch things up on us but they are still predicable. JZ did file a frightening, but fasinating, report.

Anderson had a couple of very good 'gets' on Tuesday's show. He had an exclusive interview with Fred Goldman concerning the TMZ posting of OJ's manuscript. TMZ has revealed some interesting stories in the past, but it seems now they have gone a bit too far in posting this book. I hope 360 follows the court proceedings on Wednesday and brings us an update.

The other exclusive was Anderson's interview with Susan Redman, the nurse who found the newborn on her doorstep on Monday night. What a sweet, caring person she seemed to be and that newborn couldn't have been in better hands. Anderson was so concerned and caring when discussing the condition of the newborn. His questioning of Mrs. Redman was thoughtful and brought out many interesting details. I hope we'll be hearing more of this story on Wednesday's 360.

Don't forget Anderson's special interview on Wednesday night with Angelina Jolie.

After watching AC360 try to get our Congressional Representatives to reveal their earmarks, I decided to take action. Even though 2 of my states Representatives (out of 8) did talk candidly with CNN 6 did not, including my district's Congressman, who I campaigned for last November. Today I wrote him a message and it felt really good. I suggest, if you are disappointed by your Congress person's response to CNN, you do the same and I'm going to make it easy. Here's
a link that gives you the email address of your state's Senators and Representatives. Here's the CNN link if you don't know what your Rep. revealed when CNN called. Take a minute and give them your opinion on this matter. If CNN can make 435 phone calls on our behalf you can send one little email, right?
Here's a portion of what I wrote. If it fits your needs feel free to copy and paste.
I am very dismayed at your staff’s recent lack of cooperation when CNN requested a list of your sponsored earmarks. Ridding our government of pork barrel spending is very high on my list of priorities. Your nonresponse signals to me that you've got something to hide.

And I've saved the best for last tonight. Regular commenter Etoile BeBe has used her talents to create a new video for All Things Anderson. It's one of the best I've seen in quite a while. Enjoy!

Phebe: Thanks for posting my video and for your gracious compliment! I am not very good with "machines," but it helps to be an art and dance student. Thanks to Megan for her two lovely photos that were used in this video.

I hope everyone likes it!

I just went and checked and I'm happy that my Rep was one of the ones to send her ear marks in. I read through them and they all seem pretty reasonable, which I'm also happy about. Makes me feel like she's doing her job.

Great video Etoile Bebe!

There is also the possibilty of the police officers wife attacking the mother out of spite for the newborn baby and for being her husband's "mistress".

Thanks for the quick update! I read that the fire where the 9 firemen were killed was in Charleston, SC - did our news get it wrong or is it NC as you have? ( Scratches head - the Charleston's always confuse me which is which!)

I really liked 360 last nite. Those poor firefighters. My heart goes out to thier families. It's the saddest story out there. John Zarella's report was very intreresting, yet scary. Firefighters have a very scary job and they have my complete respect. Just this past weekend I was watching that moive Ladder 49, and everytime I see it, it makes me appreiciate firefighters even more. They risk their lives everyday so that others can be safe.

Normally I like TMZ.com the have great celeberity news, however this time they are in the wrong. They should not have posted manuscript to O.J.'s book. I feel bad for the Goldman family.

FanGirl moment: Andy looked AMAZING last nite. I loved the suit/tie/shirt. It looked so pretty. And his hair looked really nice too. However, I think he was wearing those white socks again!!! It looked like it when he had has legs streched out...LOL!!! He's such a dork sometimes, but that's why we love him.

The Jessie Davis story is becoming to be mindboggling especially with a newly born baby on the scene. Coincidence or not one can't help to speculate that somehow there is a connection.

@Etoile Bebe, that was a nice video and loved the music too! Some of the pics used were new to me.

I hated watching AC tonight. Not AC - just the news was so depressing. The missing mother, the firemen - for some reason it just really got to me. I don't think I even noticed what AC was wearing - yes! it was that bad.

Video was really well put together - you did a great job. Can you tell us the artist and the song you used? I really liked the song and thought I might buy it through iTunes for my ipod. Thanks.

@anonymous 11:08 thanks for pointing out my mistake. I've changed NC to SC.

@Annie Kate, I agree the news was really depressing last nite on 360. I went to bed sad becuase almost everything Andy reported on was sad. My heart goes out to the families of those nine firefighters. That is such a sad story. I'm normally not so affected by news stories, but this is just the saddest that I've heard in a while.

I feel so bad for the Goldman family. They have been thru so much. Just when they get some kind of a victory they get knocked down by TMZ.com. What a tacky thing to do and that is an understatement!! Didn't Anderson say TMZ.com was owned by Time Warner?! He does believe in keeping them honest and not the first time he's mentioned something a parent Co. of Time Warner has done.

Loved the video, etoile bebe! Beautiful pictures and loved the song choice! A male artist from the 80's originally sang this song, I think, but I can't remember his name this early am! Will think on it today.

I believe the reason the family cancelled all interviews last night is because they gave an exclusive to Greta. The FOX news team was inside the house interviewing the sister etc. Greta did a great show and was right at the scene. Then again, Anderson, has 2 great exclusives as well.

@Etoile Bebe- great vid!

Loved AC’s tie tonight!:)

Anderson has been on a real roll the last two nights: Joey Longjohns????? LOL!

Go Senator Reid! Either accomplish something or cancel the July 4th recess… now that would impress me. I don’t think it would really happen- but if it did- that would really impress me.

John Zarrella's story about flash over was interesting. Although, I never thought that I’d see him shaking his tush on TV. LOL

AC did a great job with the Susan Redman interview. This whole story is getting odder & sadder by the day.

I really LOVED the show last night! It was fast paced with many great stories. Just how I like it!

The JD story is getting weirder by the minute! If that baby is hers then she would have to have been alive a day ago. Makes you wonder....

Anderson looked SO HOT!! That was my favorite tie!!! I LOVE IT!! And he wore it right before my birthday which is Sunday!! So I got a gift from the Coop! LOL THANKS COOP!! LOL

Did anyone notice that Anderson was wearing a different tie for an interview he did earlier in the day? Maybe he spilled some soup on it or something and had to change.

It was a great show and I'm so glad to have Anderson back. Yes, the stories were depressing, but that seems to be what the news is like these days. I loved Anderson's interview with the nurse. It was so kind of him to compliment her handling of the situation. That's why we all love him!

Hmm, I'm not sure I'm on the same page as everyone else today. Both of those exclusives bugged me for different reasons.

The John Zarella story was so interesting. But the chirpping alarms just brought me back to 9/11 when all of the fire fighters were buried in the rubble and their alarms could be heard on the news coverage. It was so eerie.

What I did enjoy was Anderson's interview with the expert that discussed using the poor child as a witness. He really seemed to know what he was talking about. I like that Anderson said he hoped the Ohio investigators had someone on their team was as knowledgable.

Great video, Etoile Bebe! Thank you very much for sharing!

What a sad episode last night. Between the SC firemen story and the Jessie Davis story. What a crazy world we live in. Its so disheartening.

I can't wait for tonight's episode with Angelina Jolie. Personally, I don't like her but I respect the work she does. If there were more people like her I think the world could be a better place.

Oh and just a bit of advice, PICK UP THE NEW VANITY FAIR MAGAZINE!!!!!!! It's the Africa edition, edited by Bono. Great read!!!

The only part of 360 I caught was the interview with Dr. Lawrence Kobilinsky which was great in my opinion. Hopefully one day I'll be able to study under Dr. Kobilinsky at John Jay University!

@Purple Tie, Copperfish, Annie Kate, Dana, Cactus Kid, Bookasylum, Xtina, & Sheryn: Thanks for your compliments on my Andyvideo! You are very welcome! It's only my second video, I am learning to use the software program! I am planning others.

Believe me it was a pleasure to do it! It gave me a chance to take an uninterrupted look at Anderson which is always a joy!

@Annie Kate: The song is called "This Time It's For Real" by Donna Summer.

Wow, I haven't heard that song in FOREVER. Fun little ditty. That video was all kinds of awesome.

Interesting that there was a tie change. As much as I lurve the purple tie, I have to say I think the dark blue one worked better with the ensemble. So yeah, something must have happened to it.

Even if he's innocent, this cop sounds like quite the jerk. Carrying on with this girl and fathering 2 children with her while he's married to someone else with whom he also has a child? And he also has a child with the former girlfriend who accused him of assault? Yeah, he's a catch.

I thought hearing the experts, especially the child development guy, was very interesting. I'm glad that they all kept stressing that the baby was likely not related. But it's only natural to speculate until the truth comes out. It's important not to rule anything out until you have the forensic results.

@ etoile bebe - once I passed on my photos to Sheryn from the signing they are open for anyone to use. The ones I didn't want used I kept for myself :P

I am glad you thought they were good enough to go with all the other hot Anderphotos.....although I must admit that day was the best I have EVER seen Anderson look
