The only part I liked of 360 was Elizabeth Cohen's piece about forced sterilization. 360 needs to do more stories like this. Very interesting piece. It was sad and scary. North Carolina needs to find the money to compensate the victims. You can't just start serializing people deemed unfit to reproduce without their permission and not expect ramifications. North Carolina needs to pay.
Thanks for the rundown of Tuesday's 360. I came in late, catching the last minute or two of the eugenics discussion. The story about the fire was heartbreaking.
I'm surprised the recent brawl at the Mall of America (located in Bloomington MN, about five miles from my house) has received so much attention (mentioned by Isha and a report earlier in Wolf's show).
There have been many smaller skirmishes between teenagers and mall security which have been successfully brushed under the rug by the mall administrators; musen't scare away the shoppers, you know.
Personally, I haven't been there in about 3 years. It's just too much of a hassle and a headache, even without teenagers there.
Teenagers going wild like the MOA incident would be a good topic for "Anderson" or "60 Minutes."
