I was disappointed in Wednesday's 360 because there was no segment/discussion on SOPA & PIPA.
To me (and a few real news folks) the SOPA & PIPA story was the big news of the day and Anderson never touched it.

I watched most of a 360 repeat later; too much time on the Italian cruise ship disaster. The best part of the political analysis on Obama were the commentators Andrew Sullivan and Bay Buchanan; they had a really good discussion and I liked Sullivan's personality. Not a huge fan of Buchanan but will take her over Dana Loesch any day of the week.

I didn't watch the medical story and came back late to Isha's Bulletin. Did she at least mention the SOPA & PIPA controversy and the news of several key Senators changing their minds about it?

The Ridiculist was cute.

360's had some really strong interviews with survivors of the cruise ship accident for the past couple of nights. The trauma, shock and anger in Georgia Ananias voice was palpable. The panicked passengers had no one to rely on for help and guidance--what a nightmare.

Andrew Sullivan is not a favorite of mine, he holds some inflammatory views, but he's right on target about President Obama's accomplishments and critics--I'm disappointed with the President in some ways, but he has done an admirable job in the face of obstruction and outright hostility--there is still no one in the GOP field of candidates who measure up. I wish Anderson had spoken to Sullivan alone without Bay Buchanan's partisan nonsense--must everything be a debate on the show?

The mystery illness report was so bizarre--I'd love some kind of follow up if the cause is ever determined.

The title on the Newsweek cover: "Why Are Obama's Critics So Dumb?" is very clever and of course correct in their assumption.
While Andrew Sullivan clearly stated HE in no way implied that critics of the POTUS were dumb, we all know that they are.
Most are Republicans whose vision is impaired and make up the 1% or those people who have the notion that Obama's supporters have nothing in common with them, and of course, these people are delusional and think that the GOP has their best interest at heart.
Good discussion with Andrew Sullivan. AC said he was a conservative. I get the feeling he's somewhat to the right and very objective.
And the Captain of the cruise ship gets more cowardly as time goes by.
He needs the 12 years in prison.
His latest version is he slipped and fell into the sea.... right into a life boat.

I love that the captain of the cruise ship says he tripped and fell into a lifeboat! Does he really think people are stupid enough to believe that? The piece about the girls was the mysterious illness was interesting. It will be interesting to see what ultimately is causing this.

I agree, way too much time spent on the cruise tragedy. I did enjoy the Sullivan/Buchanan segment. I saw Andrew on MSNBC yesterday talking about it and I think adding someone like Bay into the mix just made the interview more interesting. She really had nothing to say on some points because there was no valid comeback. At least she was smart enough not to just spin.

Interesting segment with Sanjay. I hope they do a follow-up at some point.

Andrew Sullivan used to be on 360 quite often. I always wondered what happened that he went MIA for so long. Very nice to have him back last night.
