Anderson Cooper Thursday 8/16/12

AC360 was again in the capable hands of Soledad O'Brien on Thursday while Anderson, and the ATA Team, continued their vacations.

When we looked down at the beach from our balcony this morning and saw the chairs all lined up, the blue one made us think of Kenny Chesney's album "Songs From An Old Blue Chair" which he wrote down in the islands. Here's the uncut/extended version Anderson's 60 Minutes report on Chesney as shown on CMT, which includes Kenny talking about writing "From An Old Blue Chair"

I'm not that interested in Kenny Chesny; nothing personal, I'm just not into country music at all.

The VH1 article was actually pretty nice. Although you can never put too much stock into un-named "sources" the comments were sympathetic and seem heart-felt.

I disagree with the commenters yesterday who stated this is a publicicity stunt. And totally agree with those who said Anderson would never use his personal life to garner publicity. This is not the kind of publicity Anderson wants.

The Republican convention starts in 10 days and the Democratic one is the week after. Very busy times for CNN and all news folks but sometimes being incredibly busy isn't such a bad thing.

There was a video that came out today of Ben on the boat with Anderson. The "rumors" of Anderson kicking Ben off the boat obviously not true. Probably most of it not true, tho pictures don't lie Ben was kissing the guy but we don't know the whole story.
