As you can guess from the AC360 tweets, most of Thursday's show was about Malaysia flight 370, roughly 3/4 of the hour. The ratings show that there's still quite a lot of people who want shows almost entirely on 370. Although it is a terrible tragedy, I would be okay with not hearing about it again until searchers actually have the black box out of the ocean.

That's why I watched more of Hayes (back from paternity leave) than Anderson. Checking in to 360 I did note what was being covered:
- overview with Micheal Holmes on the pings and the search
- Randi Kaye report on what the Malaysian officials have and have not been saying
- panel with Miles O'Brien, Mary Schiavo and Richard Quest
- Gary Tuchman report on the search, what might be found and correlations to what was found after other airplane water crashes
- panel with David Soucie, Mary Schiavo and David Gallo
- Martin Savidge in the flight simulator
- Anderson interviewing Sarah Bajc, partner to one of the 370 missing
- Bobyn Curnow report on the Oscar Pistorius trial
- Bulletin (three blips)
- 'Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown' promo

I'd like to say something about the commercials. One was for the Showtime production 'Years of Living Dangerously' which featured Hayes. I had mixed emotions on this: good for Hayes and why isn't Anderson involved in something like this?
There was also a 'CNN Go There' commercial near the end of the hour. This commercial highlighted CNN's glory days, big stories and reporters going all over the world, rah rah CNN! Maybe after the 370 mystery is resolved, CNN can get back to that.
