Anderson Cooper's Friday Coverage on CNN July 25, 2014 & Will Jon Stewart Be Anderson's New Boss?

Anderson Cooper anchored "Legal View" at Noon ET today....

.... and AC360 tonight.

News broke late last week that Rupert Murdoch wanted to buy Time-Warner and should that happen, would need to sell of CNN.  Les Moonves commented that CBS would be interested in buying CNN, but Jon Stewart floated this idea Tuesday night on The Daily Show...

Fareed Zakaria was Jon's guest on Thursday night and asked Jon about his campaign...

While TDS is using humor about the situation, perhaps CBS will buy CNN in the future and Anderson will have a new boss?

Anderson may have a new boss.
But it will not be Jon Stewart and something tells me, while Jon now respects Anderson's work ethics, the dynamics between the two would ultimately change.
Jon is very sharp and one slip up from Anderson ratings wise, and
fur would fly.
Jon has taken others to task for less.

Looks like Democratic Senator John Walsh has embarrassed himself by being labeled a plagiarist--seems to be a problem in the Senate since Republican Sen. Rand Paul has engaged in some plagiary himself. Dana Bash should talk to him about it since he might be running for president in 2016.

The bipartisan veteran's aid bill that was passed by the Senate may now go down in defeat if the House GOP decides not to pass it--hopefully 360 will cover this at some point.
