Anderson Cooper 360 at 8PM ET and 11PM ET on Wednesday, September 24, 2014

Anderson Cooper anchored the 8pmET hour of AC360 from outside the U.N....

... and was in the studio (and a new shirt) for a LIVE edition at 11pmET hour.

Nothing stood out to us in either hour of AC360.  If there's a segment you would like to see us post, please leave a request in comments.

The following "behind the scenes" photos showed up on social media - most from AC360:

Wednesday was a 360 almost entirely on ISIS, airstrikes and fighting terrorism. As I stated yesterday, this is important stuff. Sadly, however, my interest fades after a half-hour on the same topic.

However, if all most viewers wanted to hear about was ISIS and fighting terrorism, Anderson had it all. I was late to the show, coming in when Tom Foreman was at the map and I always appreciate it when news programs include maps. Geography is important!

Among the people Anderson spoke with were Gen. Mark Herting, Lt. Col. Rick Francona, David Gergen, Jim Sciutto, Peter Bergen, Christiane Amanpour, Pamela Brown, Maajid Nawaz and Arwa Damon. Lots of elements and details were discussed.

Last in the show was two and a half minutes on the disapperance of UVA student Heather Graham and the guy in custody for questioning. Anderson questioned Jean Cesarez about it and then over and out.

360 was not broadcast for a second hour at 9 (EST) due to a special town hall with Erin Burnett interviewing former Prez. Bill Clinton. Maybe there was just too much ISIS/terror news to cover but I thought it was odd there was no promo for this special as there was last week for the "Whitey" documentary.

Thanks, ATA, for the behind the scenes photos. Most look so close that they must have been taken by 360 crew members. Is Anderson right on United Nations property or across the street or down the street or?
While the ISIS/terror story is great big news and international news, Anderson should devote a couple minutes of 360 to the climate change summit happening this week at the UN.

Or just five seconds to give a shout out to Emma Watson and her equality speech.
