Tuesday's 360 had only one topic - the escalated tensions with North Korea.
Anderson started with an overview on North Korea's missile tests, U.S. sanctions, NK's threats, Trump's "fire and fury" threats, NK's new threat on Guam. Anderson spoke to Barbara Starr then Sara Murray. There were quotes from Sen. McCain and Sen. Feinstein. Then Anderson had a long and enlightening interview with retired Lt. Gen. James Clapper about details, angles and outcomes.
The second segment started with a short report about what a war with North Korea might look like. Anderson introduced a panel of three high-ranking former military guys: Mark Herting, John Kirby and Rick Francona.
I missed the start of the third segment; the same panel was still discussing North Korea.
Because of Hayes I also missed most of the fourth segment. This was when Anderson was talking to Tom DeMint and another guy about North Korea.
In the last segment of the first hour Anderson had a phone interview with Rep. Madeleine Bordallo (D-Guam), of course about North Korea shooting a missile at them.
The second hour started the same as the first.
I checked out Hayes frequently. I'm guessing his first segment covered North Korea. His later segments covered the Mueller Russia investigation and a great interview with Dan Rather on the Trump administration, leaks, the public right to know and trust. Later Hayes' last segment was on the Trump effect on the GOP, future elections and future candidates.
No doubt about it a possible war with North Korea is an incredibly serious topic. Perhaps I'm wrong to get bored with it after 20 to 25 minutes but even so I really liked Hayes' interview with Rather.
YES, A WAR WITH NORTH KOREA IS 'AN INCREDIBLY SERIOUS TOPIC.' IF ONLY PRESIDENT BOGUS KNEW THAT
AND DIDN'T SPEAK OF UNLEASHING "FIRE AND FURY." IT MAY BE A GOOD SOUND BITE THAT THE ANCHORS CAN CHEW ON, BUT IN REALITY DOES BOGUS KNOW WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT? HE HAS THE MIND OF A NINE YEAR OLD AND "LITTLE KIM" KNOWS THIS, AND MAY JUST BE BAITING HIM.
IT HAD TO HAPPEN SOONER OR LATER, AND ALL THOSE WHO VOTED FOR THE LIAR IN CHIEF, HOW SAFE DO YOU FEEL NOW??
YES IT IS SCARY KNOWING THAT A MAN WHO RANTS LIKE A THREE YEAR OLD KNOWS ALL THE NUCLEAR CODES. OR DOES HE? SOMETHING TELLS ME, THE GOP MIGHT NOT HAVE GIVEN HIM ALL THE INFORMATION HE NEEDS, BECAUSE THEY DON'T "TRUST" HIM EITHER. WE CAN ONLY HOPE.
