John Kelly is an asshole. And I am sorry, but this blind worship of anyone who has ever served is an issue. Respect the uniform, but also recognize that brave doesn't always equal good. Liked that Anderson did not hold back.
Is anyone surprised about the WH shielding an abuser.
However, I have to say, there was a giant elephant in the room tonight. It's a lil hard to talk about the WH's history of hiring abusers when CNN hired Lewandowski too.

Dana Bash said something about how John Kelly finally showed an unflattering side of his character in this Porter spousal abuse scandal--I don't know where Bash has been but Kelly showed that he was rotten to the core when he maligned Rep. Frederica Wilson and refused to apologize when it was proven he lied about her. Kelly is racist, sexist trash like practically everyone in the corrupt Trump administration--I don't think there's a single decent human being amongst them. And don't make me laugh with those self-serving reports of Ivanka being 'disturbed' by Porter's abusive behavior--she's no better than her repulsive father and deplorable brothers--the entire family is scum and a blight on this nation and the entire world.
Looks like AC360 has changed the set and the show opener.

Dana annoyed me yesterday. She seemed very reluctant to concede that Kelly was not this great hero after all. And it's not the first time she has run interference for this admin.
@pragya, Dana Bash is considered one of CNN's best and most prominent reporters, but she irritates me for the very reasons you state--she has a tendency to behave like the 'clean-up woman' for Trump and the GOP in general--no matter how low they go, she always appears to want to find some way to defend or make excuses for them in order to portray them in a less negative light--she's NEVER that generous with Democrats--she goes all in on President Obama or Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi. I saw a few comments on Twitter yesterday from folks who noticed the same thing about Dana Bash.
YES, I HAVE TO AGREE, DANA BASH KNOWS HER WAY AROUND CONGRESS BUT SHE GETS TOO INVOLVED WITH DETAILS AND ALWAYS GIVES REPUBLICANS THE EDGE. HATE THAT.
BAKARI SELLERS IS A SMART GUY. HE WRITES EDITORIALS FOR THE NY TIMES AND THEY ALWAYS HIT THE MARK. HE WAS ON AC'S PANEL TONIGHT AND HE SAID THAT THE WHITE HOUSE HAS LOW STANDARDS. KELLY'S REMARK AND DISMISSAL OF ABUSE, AS WAS FIRST REPORTED, HAD TO DO WITH WHAT WAS PERCEIVED AS "ACCEPTABLE" BEHAVIOR, FROM THE TOP. HE MEANT, HELLO, TRUMP'S CRUDENESS. IT WASN'T UNTIL IVANKA RAN IN TO SHOW 'DADDY' A PHOTO OF THE ABUSE, THAT DADDY REALIZED HE HAD A PUBLIC RELATIONS PROBLEM THAT WAS GROWING BIGGER BECAUSE OF JOHN KELLY'S LACK OF CONTAINMENT. HEY, THE GUY ISN'T THAT STUPID. OK, HE'S A MORON.

HE POINTED OUT RIDICULOUS SPENDING HABITS, SUCH AS A COMMITTEE TO FIND OUT THE EXACT WORDING OF THE FIRST ASTRONAUTS WHO LANDED ON THE MOON. DID THAT HAPPEN IN MY LIFE TIME?? @Cappy, yes, Bakari Sellers is one of my favorite AC360 panelists--I just wish he could be on more often.
If Ron Paul really cared about the deficit, he wouldn't have voted yes on the GOP tax bill which is going to add trillions to it.
YES, THAT IS TRUE. HOWEVER CONGRESS IS KNOWN FOR CONGRESSIONAL WASTE FOR EVERY COMMITTEE KNOWN TO MAN. THIS IS THE FIRST WE'VE SEEN OF HIM SINCE HIS NEIGHBOR BEAT HIM UP. I DON'T THINK I'D WANT TO HAVE HIM AS A MY NEIGHBOR EITHER, NO MATTER WHAT THE PROBLEM.
